Healthy Buildings Achieves Climate Registered Status for a Sixth Year
Lake Forest, CA, March 29th, 2017:
Healthy Buildings has achieved Climate Registered™ status for its sixth year by successfully measuring our carbon footprint according to The Climate Registry’s best-in-class program, then having it third party verified and reporting the data on The Registry’s website.
Measuring our carbon footprint with The Registry allows us to prepare for future regulation, identify inefficiencies and potential for cost savings, and provide real and meaningful data to our customers and shareholders about our environmental performance.
About The Climate Registry
The Climate Registry is a non-profit organization that operates the only carbon footprint registry in North America supported by states, provinces, territories and tribes. The Climate Registry helps hundreds of public and private organizations measure, report and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions with integrity.
About Healthy Buildings: Healthy Buildings’ core purpose is to make buildings and the organizations that operate them more valuable. We do this by increasing buildings efficiency and savings through LEED programs and certifications, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessments, and energy and water reviews.
